Happy Sacred Sunday!
Have you ever wished you could have record a golden moment, one that’s just too good not to share?
The other day, my husband walked into the house in the middle of the day and overheard a Zoom conversation I was having with a peer. He looked at me and said, “Wow, you really do spend your whole day talking about all this stuff!”
By “stuff,” he meant personal development, personal growth, and what some people lovingly refer to as “my unicorn talk.” (Yes, yes, I do spend all day talking about this stuff.)
Maybe you have your own version of “unicorn talk” … those life-giving conversations that light you up and make you see the world a little differently. For me, finding ways to make the human experience more meaningful, productive, and blissful is my absolute passion. There’s nothing else I’d rather discuss, to be honest.
But one thing I’d love to do more of, and I don’t do nearly enough, is record these conversations to share them with you.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on a morning walk, at dinner, or driving while talking on the phone with a coach or a friend, and I’ve said, “Gosh, I wish everyone could hear this!”
Because the gems and wisdom that come out are absolute gold.
Honestly, I wish I had my own reality TV show, but instead of cheating, drama, and gossip, the show would be all about mindset, wellness, and relationships.
I don’t think my family would be very happy with me, lol, so we’ll have to shelve that idea.
But this time I did do something along these lines … I was having my regular weekly meeting with my assistant, Fran, and spontaneously converted it into an interview.
There was no prep, no script, no agenda; simply a conversation worth sharing about how she has been approaching life since she got the memo that she’s in the “fourth quarter.”
Fran is full of wisdom and she’s doing life right. If you’re navigating a new season, or just need a little spark of wisdom from someone walking the walk, today you get to experience Fran’s perspective, too.
I’d truly love to know if you enjoy this kind of episode. Would you like me to turn the microphone on more often when I realize I’m having a golden conversation? Just hit reply and let me know.
(Oh, and one of these days I’m going to share a story that happened to Fran and me recently that will make your mouth drop. But that’s for another day!)
Hope you enjoy this one.
Sending you so much love today and always,
