In a world of immediate gratification, being told to wait is a tough challenge.
Dealing with my sister’s foot the last couple of months has felt like an eternal waiting game. The days are long; and as they blend together, we continue to wait … for answers, doctors, and more than anything, signs of healing or non-healing.
Waiting is not a pleasant experience, but it is a skill set I learned years ago when my father had cancer. That time I spent with my dad was a masterclass of tapping into resilience and learning to wait in a healthier way.
It was during that time my father introduced me to the concept of stoicism; A philosophy I have studied ever since.
That’s the thing about life. It’s always training you for something bigger.
On today’s podcast, I’m sharing with you how to tap into your resilience when all you can do is wait.
Because waiting can be a killer when you don’t know how to handle it properly.
And yet, sometimes it’s the only option you have.
I hope you’ll tune into this episode. It’s an important one, and it will help you many times in your life.
