Happy Sacred Sunday!
This week on the podcast, I’m sharing a story about a bottle I let linger on my countertop even though it didn’t belong there. That little bottle became a symbol of how clutter and chaos weigh us down when we procrastinate making small decisions. This is the second week I’ve explored what I call “thinking energy,” one of the biggest threats to creating a life of order.
This morning, I chuckled at the irony of releasing that story on the very day I was hosting our annual family Halloween pumpkin carving party.
Why ironic? Because this is the messiest day of our year.
On this day, countertops are buried under food and drinks, toys are sprawled across the playroom, and sticky little hands from pumpkin carving threaten every wall and door. (scroll down to see some pics of our day!)
You’d think by listening to my episode that my house is always pristine, but that wasn’t the point. (And it isn’t!).
Today, despite the chaos and clutter, I felt a deep sense of order.
Order in my priorities.
Order in the rhythm of our traditions.
Order in the purpose behind hosting my family.
You see, the episode wasn’t about pristine countertops. It was about misplaced procrastination — the mental clutter that piles up when we assign too much weight to decisions that don’t deserve it.
So today, as I looked around my house at the kids jumping, grandparents smiling, and moms picking up after everyone, I felt a spark of bliss.
This is the kind of mess I welcome. The kind that reminds me I’m living in alignment with what matters most.
If you’ve been craving more order in your life, maybe the first place to start is in your thoughts.

Happy Sacred Sunday!
Do you ever catch yourself anxiously waiting for the moment when the busyness subsides, when the schedules align, and when life finally grants you the order you crave?
I got caught in that loop after a whirlwind September, and I found myself craving an Orderly October to steady my energy. I blamed all the traveling I was doing and then, as life would have it, I found myself on a plane on October 1st all over again
.
By this time, I had taken the time to process and understand what was fueling the feelings of chaos. And I decided to embrace a different energy. Most people don’t realize the power in deciding which energy you will adopt.
That is the power of living with intention, and I have to tell you, it is life changing.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, heavy, or chaotic, maybe this Sacred Sunday is your opportunity to reset. Tune into this week’s Bliss’n Up Podcast for three practical strategies and a loving nudge to bring order into your chaotic life.
Oh, and something else that I learned from my son, Justin, which helps me so much when the feelings of overwhelm consume me is this: “All it takes is one good day.”
One simple day of following your rituals, honoring your priorities, and protecting a pocket of calm can reset so much more than you imagine.
By the way, if living with intention is something that sounds nice in theory but you don’t know how to apply it to your own life, let’s have a conversation. I have a couple of 1:1 coaching slots opening up in October and November, and this may be exactly what you need to kick off the new year in an intentional and powerful way.

P.S. Exciting news! Give Me a Boost, the book I co-authored with nine incredible women, became an Amazon Best Seller in four categories! It’s now out in paperback. Order your copy and feel the power of community, courage, and growth. 🌟
