Happy Sacred Sunday!
There’s only one week left in August to nurture this month’s theme before we welcome September with fresh energy and new intentions.
Of course, any day is a perfect day for a new beginning. You don’t have to wait until the end of the month for that. But I do love the rhythm of embracing a new month with the live with intention framework.
This August, the theme for the Bliss’n Up community is Anchor August.
For me, that has looked like anchoring into:
And during this final week of August, I’m anchoring into connection in honor of my father, whose birthday lands on August 23rd.
My father was a master of creating meaningful relationships with people. He taught me that you can be powerfully present in someone’s life even if you’re not physically present.
He nurtured this philosophy through a simple tradition of sending me postcards.

Postcards have become a symbol of connection in my life that extends beyond my father.
For example, after my father died, my uncle began sending me postcards from anywhere he traveled to in memory of my father. This gesture has fostered a special connection between the two of us that I am forever grateful for.
This week on the podcast, I’m sharing more about this practice of anchoring into connection and how you can apply it in your own life.
Postcards don’t always have to include stamps and stationery.
They can be a handwritten note slipped into someone’s hand, a quick text, a warm meal at their door, or even a short voice note that says, “I’m thinking of you.”
These are our modern-day postcards. And they’re how we plant roots of connection that last a lifetime.
As you head into this final week of August, I’d love to hear from you: What are you nurturing this week?
Hit reply and share one small thing you’re anchoring into this week. Maybe it’ll be creating your own version of a postcard?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sending lots of love, today and always,
P.S. If this message made you think of someone, would you forward it to them? A simple “this made me think of you” could be exactly the encouragement they need today.
