On this Sacred Sunday, I am writing to you from my beautifully upgraded house, marveling at how magical it is when dreams come true.
Last night Orlando and I were talking about how this remodel had seemed like such a huge undertaking. It’s why it took us so long to pull the trigger, and why we even considered buying a different house to avoid the hassle.
5 months ago we were full of hopes, fears, and uncertainties. And yet here we are; we accomplished our goal and it wasn’t nearly as bad as we thought it would be.
I’ve spent the weekend enjoying the space, getting comfy by putting things in their place, and showing the house to our drop-in friends and family.
