Happy Sacred Sunday!
Have you ever done something you’ve done before—something that’s always been great—but for some reason, this time it feels extra magical? You can’t quite put your finger on it, but everything seems to align perfectly, and the experience leaves you in awe?
That’s exactly how I felt this past week.
My family has a fairly recent annual tradition of spending Thanksgiving in Orlando, FL, at our cousin’s vacation home. Every year it’s a wonderful time — but this year was beyond.
This time, we hosted Thanksgiving dinner on Friday and spent Thursday at the theme parks. I spent Thanksgiving Day riding roller coasters at Islands of Adventure and having the time of my life.

At one point, my youngest, Ryan, turned to me and said, “Mom, this day is all sparks of bliss!”
Let me tell you—he was right.
But it wasn’t just the theme park. The entire trip was filled with so much quality time, laughter, dancing, delicious food, and deep conversations.
After such a challenging year, it felt extra special to gift my mom this holiday vacation.
I even captured a video of my husband’s 98-year-old grandfather showing off his mobility and dance moves.
Looking around, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the nest we’ve built—a nest of family, love, and harmony.
This trip reminded me that our job is to create the rituals, traditions, and spaces for magical moments—to show up fully. But bliss isn’t something you can force. It has its own way of sneaking up on you, and all you need to do is pay attention so you don’t miss it.
In a beautifully synchronistic way, the trip ended just as November wrapped up, allowing us to step into this Sacred Sunday ready for a new month and a new theme.
Here we are, welcoming the final month of 2024, and I have an incredible theme to share with you.
Are you ready for it?
December’s theme is: DARE DECEMBER.
DARE is an acronym:
This is an invitation to step boldly into your dreams, take meaningful action, release what no longer serves you, and savor the beauty of this season.
I’d love for you to reflect on this:
What’s one thing you’re ready to dare yourself to do this month?
Is it a step toward a long-held goal, or maybe letting go of something that’s been weighing you down?
On today’s podcast, I’m sharing how to embrace this theme and make December a month of daring transformation.
Tune in and let me know how this resonates for you—I’d love to hear what you’re daring to dream, act on, release, or enjoy!
