Happy Sacred Sunday!
Have you ever experienced a moment where you realize that the life you dreamt of building is your current reality?
Let me tell you about my client, Alyssa.
When Alyssa and I first started working together, she arrived at my home for one of our walking sessions. She came inside briefly to put her bag down, and happened to see my son serving himself a bowl of Greek yogurt with berries and honey.
It caught her attention. She had never considered that simple, nourishing combo as a meal for herself or her family.
Alyssa had been struggling with her weight and wellness lifestyle for most of her life. She came to me after having tried all the fad diets and radical approaches out there. Alyssa was tired of the constant yo-yoing of pounds and habits.
So we got to work.
Little by little, this woman began shifting her mindset, her habits, and the story she was telling herself. She struggled, like we all do, as she worked on adopting a new identity. But she listened, she trusted, and she integrated my frameworks one day at a time.
Fast forward to yesterday.
Alyssa was on vacation with her family. Her 10-year-old son, Andrew, came into the kitchen hungry.
“Mom, can you make me some greek yogurt with honey and berries please?”
This has become one of Andrew’s go to meals.
In that moment, Alyssa’s mind flashed back to that early walking session.
Suddenly, it dawned on her that not only had she changed her habits, but her kids had adopted them as well. She was no longer just a woman on a mission to get healthy. She has become a role model for her family.
She finally noticed the life she once dreamt of is the life she has actually built.
This moment highlights perfectly what I’m talking about in today’s podcast.
It’s a special one because I’m also sharing how often times the life you dream of has a hidden blueprint from your lineage that you may not have noticed yet.
May this episode inspire you to keep nurturing the life you desire while enjoying the life you’ve built.
And most of all, may it remind you to keep noticing and connecting the dots of your beautiful life story.
Sending you so much love, today and always,

Happy Sacred Sunday!
It’s a spectacularly beautiful Sunday morning on the beaches of Marco Island. I just finished a mindful, long walk by the water. The last couple of days I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the most gorgeous sunsets and quality time with friends and family.
A friend of mine captured this sweet picture of my oldest son, Orly, sitting with his momma enjoying her favorite view in the world.
But you know what has made the weekend most enjoyable? Believe it or not, it’s been how mindful I’ve been about food.
I have to confess to you, that for some time I had slipped into autopilot with my nutrition.
I got a little too comfortable with the identity of being a “healthy” eater who occasionally indulges. It’s like when you’re coasting in a healthy relationship or at work. Subconsciously you may start to take some things for granted, pay less attention, or stop doing the things that made things so great to begin with.
That happened to me with food.
It wasn’t a complete detour of my habits. I “mostly” eat well.
No, This was way more subtle.
It was an accumulation of choices here and there that showed I had started to drift.
Until I noticed the side effects.
Join me today on the podcast as I share some embarrassing but hilarious stories of myself, my journey to health, and how I noticed I’d slipped into autopilot.
This path of life is not a straight line. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it helps if you stay aware and mindful. Because the farther you detour from your aligned path, the harder it is to find your way again.
The reason I said my weekend vacation has been better because I’ve been mindful about food is because I feel awake and alive. I feel empowered and in control of myself. And that feeling makes me feel vibrant and bliss-full.
You can either sleepwalk through life or you can wake up.
May this be your invitation to wake up if you’re sleepwalking. If this message is for you, you’ll know.
Sending you a sun-kissed, coconut smelly hug today.
Hope you enjoy your Memorial Day long weekend.
